Fraxel diaries, 5 days after treatment

Now is the time to mention that I love Fraxel.

The pinkness is almost gone today, actually. What’s still there looks very natural… natural enough to forego any foundation, just eye makeup and lip gloss. Except for the cold sore on my lip, and some small patches of dry skin, my skin looks amazing and the whole process has exceeded my expectations.

Kinda freaky religious about sunscreen now. And hats. Never wore hats so often in my life, but I do now. I feel like I was given a “do-over” with my skin and I have to do better this time. Protect my investment.

  1. Hello,

Not sure if you still use this, but figured I’d try anyway! I have a fraxel dual appointment scheduled at the end of march and am just a little nervous because of some horror stories I’ve read online. About a year or more later did you notice any skin sagging or loss of volume in your cheeks?

    Thank you much!! 🙂

    • I have had nothing but good experiences with my Fraxel dual treatments. After this round of treatments that I blogged about, I went back two years later and had it done again. Both times were tremendously helpful for minimizing wrinkles and brightening my complexion. If I had the money, I’d do it again! I also bought the Tria laser for home, and use that regularly but it is not nearly as effective as the Fraxel. Good luck!
